Since 1992, Ronald Thompson has helped and guide multiple families and people throughout the whole Immigration process.
Ronald Thompson Esq graduated Cum Laude from Fordham University in 1988. He majored in Political Science and minored in Economics and French. He studied at the Universite de Paris-Sorbonne in 1987 and speaks French.
Upon graduation from Fordham, Mr. Thompson volunteered at an immigrant shelter in Tijuana, Mexico with the Scalabrini Fathers. He learned spanish while living in the shelter. He also visited the Tijuana prisons and coordinated relief to detainees in Tijuana. He also taught English to immigrants staying at the shelter.
Mr. Thompson then attended law school at Suffolk University in Boston, MA. He was awarded a Drinan Fellowship at the University and worked at the Boston U.S. Attorneys Office in the fellowship.
Upon graduating from law school, Mr. Thompson was hired by the R.I. Public Defenders Office where he worked for three years before setting up his own law office. He has been on the board of directors of CHISPA and volunteered at the Genesis Center in Providence. He is member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association and the New England Division of the organization.
